Inspired by the atemporal quotes we all have, coming from generations, I created
this workshop using different Tabla (darbuka) phrases (not rhythms) in order to explore and get
deeper into technique and body language essentials when it comes to raqs sharqi. In total, we're
gonna be dancing on 10 different tabla quotes specially developed for this class.
